## About the author

Dr. Hukam Chand Jain (born 1955) is a historian and teacher from Kota, Rajasthan. He has written history books for nearly forty years, taught at Rajasthan’s government colleges, guided Ph.D. scholars and received the Maharana Kumbha Award (2009).
